Dying into Life: A Yearlong Experiment in Renewal, Self-Compassion, and Courage
Jan. 29, 2022 – Jan. 7, 2023
This yearlong experiment is a rare opportunity to immerse in what matters most to each of us by embracing the truth of our own mortality. This live, online course is taught through the lens of mindfulness and self-compassion and is inspired by Stephen Levine’s A Year to Live and Frank Ostaseski’s Five Invitations. In this uniquely engaged course, supplemental practice sessions will be offered, as will specific homework and practices related to our monthly theme.

Finding Your Place in the Circle of Care
(on hiatus)
We will learn, breath by breath, to counterbalance the despair, fatigue, and indifference that may sometimes set in when we give too much. This workshop was designed by Tina Gibson for those who struggle with finding balance in their caring: parents, counselors, teachers, clinicians, children of aging parents, chaplains, etc. This workshop also supports those who do advocacy work for the environment, animals, and more.

CDP-Evolving (CDP-E)
April – September 2022
This course is a 6-month continuation and evolution of the CDP, in which we consider topics rich for further exploration (forgiveness, self-critical voice, people pleasing, self-regulation, and more.). In the CDP-E, we maintain the same small class size and class structure, but as an even deeper dive. In addition to weekly meetings, participants will receive optional opportunities for live, teacher-guided practice each month in contemplative writing and expressive arts.
